Information we use
When you sign in, we receive your account identifier, email, and any name or profile picture supplied by your sign-in provider. We store the photographs you upload, file details, gallery invitations, profile information, cart selections, order history, and account settings. Checkout requires a delivery name and US address. We also process technical logs needed to operate the service, investigate errors, and protect accounts.
We use this information to provide private galleries, share images with invited people, display public photographer portfolios, find nearby photographers, process payments, produce and deliver prints, calculate commissions, answer support requests, and meet recordkeeping obligations.
Private galleries and public portfolios
Gallery owners decide who can access their private galleries. Guests must sign in with the invited verified email. Authorized guests can view, download originals, and order prints. Revocation prevents new authorized requests, but cannot remove copies someone has already downloaded. Download links expire after five minutes.
Approved photographers can choose a public or hidden listing. Public pages may show your display name, username, biography, city and state, social links, approved profile images, and selected portfolio previews. Nearby search uses ZIP representative coordinates and shows approximate distances; public responses do not include your stored ZIP or coordinates. Public portfolios do not offer original downloads.
Original photographs may contain embedded metadata. We preserve original files, so this metadata may be present in downloads shared with guests or files sent for printing. Generated previews are re-encoded to remove location metadata.
Service providers and moderation
Convex provides our application backend and authentication services. Cloudflare R2 stores photographs and derivatives, and Cloudflare processes images and serves approved public previews. We send trusted image previews to OpenAI for automated content moderation; administrators may review flagged content. Pending or failed moderation prevents public publication and print purchasing until approval.
Stripe handles payments, tax calculations, subscriptions, and connected photographer accounts. We do not store full payment card numbers. Prodigi and its production and delivery partners receive the selected print files, product choices, and delivery information needed to fulfill your order. Resend delivers sign-in emails. These providers process data under their applicable agreements and privacy policies.
Photographers receive their own commission information. Their commission view excludes customer contact and delivery details and other photographers’ earnings. We do not sell your photographs or customer information.
Storage and deletion
You can download and delete your photographs. We remove abandoned uploads after 24 hours and unused Quick Print uploads after seven days. Files required for paid orders remain available for fulfillment until 90 days after fulfillment or cancellation, even when their gallery is deleted. Transaction, tax, dispute, and audit records may be retained longer where needed for legal obligations or resolving claims.
Going over a storage quota pauses new uploads. After 30 days, shared and public access and new image purchases are paused until you return within quota. Owner downloads and deletion remain available. Deleting an image does not recall files already delivered to a recipient or production partner.
Your choices
You can update your profile, hide your photographer listing, revoke gallery access, manage subscriptions, and delete images from your account. Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of other account information, or to ask about applicable privacy rights. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
We use session storage and cookies needed for sign-in and interface preferences. PhotoWizard is intended for adults. Please do not create an account if you are under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us.
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date identifies the current version; material changes will be communicated where required.
